Is it the same if you bring my car to the hotel?

In hotels located in Puerto de la Cruz there is no additional charge. For hotels located in other municipalities, please consult us.

How can I pay?

Card, cash or bank transfer, depending on place, date and time of delivery. We accept all major credit cards except American Express.

How do I make my reservation by phone?

Can I choose a vehicle model?

Our rental system allows you to specify your preference for a particular model within a group or category, although the final rental depends on the actual availability of that model at the time you make your reservation. If such a model is not available, it will be exchanged for another model in the same category. However, we will always try to do our best to meet your needs.

How do I cancel a booking?

Simply call us on +34 922 37 35 37 or email us at autosplaza@teneriferentacar.com with your booking number at least 24 hours before the pick-up date.

Who can drive the car?

In principle, the driver of the vehicle must be the person listed as ‘Driver of the Vehicle’ on our booking forms, as this person will be taken as the person responsible for the vehicle. Failing this, the driver will be the person who made the rental. The driver must present his driver’s licence when collecting the vehicle. A second driver is allowed, at no extra cost, as long as they provide their personal details and show their driver’s licence at our offices.

Why do I have to install the additional accessories myself?

The installation of additional accessories (boosters, baby seats) will be carried out by the person renting the vehicle. The reason for this is that our insurance requires it, so that in the event of an incident resulting from incorrect installation of the accessories, the company is not liable for any damage caused.

Can I take the car out of the island of Tenerife?

No, the insurance covers you only within the island of Tenerife.
